Graduation Ceremonies - GSCA
Graduating to the first grade. Graduating from sixth grade.
The Good Shepherd Christian Academy graduated thirteen from kinder to the first grade (left photo above) and sixteen from the sixth grade to move on to higher studies (right photo above). One young man really stood out this year having completed two grade levels in just one year graduating one year earlier than he otherwise would have:
Rene Exequiel Carcamo Elvir (photo right)
Rene, born November 10, 1992, came to live at the Good Shepherd Children's Home in September of 2002. Rene comes from a home destroyed by domestic violence and abuse. He often had to dig in the garbage looking for something to eat due to living in severe poverty.
Today, by God's grace and love through The Good Shepherd Children's Home and The Good Shepherd Christian Academy Rene has a bright future. He has demonstrated to all that he has the dedication and hard work ethic to succeed. Congratulations Rene!
