Good morning. JoAnn and I moved yesterday and spent the first night in our new home. It was almost like being in heaven. It is so spacious and beautiful. I will be sending you some photos with our next newsletter. Thank you one and all for helping us to finally have a beautiful home. I didn’t realize it until we were talking the other day, but we have been living in our little bedroom in the dorm for close to ten years.
Last night it rained like I have never seen it rain anywhere, ever. Even in the rainy season it has never rained that hard for that long. It rained constantly for five hours and there were showers even after the main rain ended. The new ditches on the highway are completely full this morning because they haven’t finished installing the pipes under the drives down stream. This morning the city had a backhoe out front making ditches through the drive entrances to allow the water to pass. What a rain it was.
The rain sounded so good on the roof of our bedroom. I can’t imagine a more peaceful sound than rain on a tin roof. Thank you again for being our partners in Honduras. Thank you for helping us to have a decent place to live. You are such a blessing to the people of Honduras and to us personally.
Thank you so much for all you do for the Lord. |
